Our Next Tournament will be held on Friday, August 29, 2008. The buy-in is $55 dollars. $10 of each buy-in will go to a Bounty on each player. Whoever knocks out the player will get the $10. If you knock out five players you will get $50 ($10 x 5 = $50).

Congratulations to the following people for landing into the money for our largest tournament to date. We had four full tables of players this Memorial Day weekend. One of the most interesting happenings was how the final players made the money. The tournament was down to eight players and the tourney paid five spots and there were three short stacks. All three short stacks went all-in on the same hand and were called by a big stack (Melissa). Melissa knocked out all three short stacks by spiking a set and put everyone remaining at the table into the money. 1st -- Jenifer O'Neill 2nd -- Brian Dixon 3rd -- Melissa Agerlid 4th -- Howard Hohman 5th -- Jassen Alexander Here's our winner:

June Monthly Cash Game

Our monthly cash game for June will be held Saturday, June 7th at 7:30 pm. As this is our inaugural monthly cash game here is some information about how this is going to work. We are going to be holding a monthly cash in addition to our monthly tournaments. The monthly cash game will be a $1/$2 No Limit Hold 'em game unless otherwise specified. We will be holding higher limit games in the future ($2/$5 & $5/$10). In general, you can buy in for any amount you wish at the cash game however the maximum buy in is either 100 times the big blind or an amount equal to the largest stack at the table. All chips must be bought from the house; no buying from another player. Also, there is no going south with money. If you cash out chips you must cash out all your chips. You cannot cash out some of your chips and continue playing with the rest. You may come or leave anytime at the cash game, however, you may not arrive later than 11pm without permission from the house, i.e., from Richard. This rule is to make sure I know who is coming and going late at night. No hit and runs allowed. If you come to play and don't play a single hand until you have the nuts and then win a big pot and leave--don't be expected to be allowed back. We are not a casino and want everyone to have a good time. If you won a big pot or have a lot of chips and have to go soon consider letting everyone at the table know you are leaving in 15-20 minutes. It's good poker manners. If you wish to change your seat during the cash game simply get up and move to an empty seat. If you don't wait for the big blind you must post an amount equal to the big blind. If you play in the cash game you consent to video surveillance entering and leaving the premises. During the cash games cameras will record all players coming and leaving. There will be no cameras recording the cards dealt to players however. If there is a dispute over anything the house will make the final determination which will be binding on the players. For the first few cash games all games will be self-dealt. If you have any questions please let me know.
